Relational Coaching
“We are born in relationship, we are wounded in relationship, and we can be healed in relationship.”
Harville Hendrix
Coaching for individuals who want to grow and learn, and for couples who want to repair and strengthen their relationship.
For individuals
For people who want to grow and learn, and desire a mentor and a guide to help them navigate and develop their internal landscape.
People come to me when they:
Keep repeating patterns they want to change.
Have insight, but it hasn't brought change.
Are ready for something beyond talk therapy.
Have lives that work on the outside, and want more depth within.
Want to know who and what they are, and are drawn to spiritual inquiry.
Want closer, more honest relationships with others.
Want a guide they can trust.
I am an internal tour guide. I am there with you, not a bystander. I am involved, I care, and you matter.
For couples
For couples who want to repair and strengthen their relationship. Most couples do not fight about many things. They fight about one thing, in many forms. The details change and the pattern does not.
What people usually arrive with:
Conflict follows the same path every time, and neither of you can step off it.
One of you reaches and the other withdraws, and both feel alone.
Trust has been broken and you want to find out what repair is possible.
Closeness has faded into logistics.
One of you is changing, and the relationship has not caught up.
What we learn is how to show up for each other, in the good moments and in the difficult ones. We learn to see that we are together for a reason, and that the pain we experience is a calling for growth.
How sessions go
Sessions are grounded in what is happening in the moment and in the room. Our present-moment experience is always the doorway. We include our minds, our hearts, and our somatic experience, in order to unveil what has been hidden from us.
Between us we form a relationship of trust. As sessions progress, we come to know our hidden patterns, and to recognize choice in places where we couldn't before.

Couples. $250 to $350 per hour, on a sliding scale.
Couples format. Usually both partners together. At times I also suggest individual sessions with each partner.

Intensives. Three hours, or one or two full days together. Please inquire for pricing.
Where. In person in Boulder, Colorado, or online on Zoom.
Scope
I am a coach, not a licensed therapist. Relational coaching is not couples therapy and is not suited to relationships where there is violence or fear for safety. If that is your situation, please reach out to a licensed professional or a domestic violence service.
Begin with a conversation
The first conversation is free and takes about 30 minutes. We find out what you are looking for and whether working together is the right fit for both of us.
